1. Terminator (The) (1984)


One of the best sci-fi/action films of all time. Cameron and Schwarzenegger at their best. Great premise.

2. Back to the Future (1985)


Great scott! This is an almost perfect film. Michael J. Fox, Christopher lloyd and the entire cast are excellent. Funny and sweet.

3. It's a Wonderful Life (1946)


An all-time classic. I watch it every year.

4. Planet of the Apes (1968)


Another all-time favorite in any genre.

5. Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)


One of the greatest sequels ever made. Has everything that made the original so great plus a much bigger budget and an expanded scope. An epic.

6. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)


One of the best of the ST series. The fish out of water story, so to speak, is very funny and the cast are highly entertaining.

7. Back to the Future Part II (1989)


Great follow-up to the classic original. Too bad Glover didn't return for the sequels.

8. Twelve Monkeys (1996)


Mind-bending and dark. Willis and Pitt are excellent and one of Terry Gilliam's more accessible pictures.

9. Peggy Sue Got Married (1986)


Underrated Coppola movie. Turner's best performance and Nic Cage has to be seen to be believed. Hilarious.
